Department Student Association Introduction
Following the tradition of previous years, the executive committee of the departmental student association is mostly composed of third-year students who lead and organize activities for first and second-year students. The president of the student association is selected by representatives from each class in the second year, and the next president is elected by a vote from all students during the annual sports event. A handover ceremony is held, and the newly elected president appoints the remaining executive positions.
To foster a strong sense of camaraderie among students and uphold the spirit of the Industrial and Systems Engineering Department, the student association organizes various recreational and academic activities every semester. The student association takes charge of coordinating and facilitating all departmental events, such as new and returning student registration, freshman orientation camp, midterm and final exam study weeks, and collaborations with partner stores.
