Distribution of Funding for Graduate Students to Attend International Academic Conferences in FY112 by Faculty

The following is a description of the program:
In accordance with the “Implementation Plan of Central Taiwan University’s Grant for Graduate Students to Attend International Academic Conferences” (Attachment 1), the distribution of funds for the 112th year of the Grant for Graduate Students to Attend International Academic Conferences by each faculty is shown in Attachment 2.
Applicants should submit their applications to the National Science and Technology Commission or other organizations before the conference. However, the University will not accept late applications that do not result in grants from outside the University.
Applicants should prepare one copy of each of the following documents and submit them to the respective faculties for examination and approval:
(1) Application form for the University to subsidize graduate students to attend international academic conferences (Appendix 3).
(b) A copy of the accepted thesis.
(c) A copy of the abstract and the full text of the paper to be presented.
(d) The program of the international conference, conference related information, and other materials that can help the review.
(E) Letter of subsidy or non-subsidy from external organizations.
(f) Authorization for the use of the work (Attachment 4).
The grantee should submit a separate application for the following reasons:
(a) If a change or revocation is to be made for any reason, a written application (Attachment 5) should be submitted and the original approved application should be attached and sent to the Research and Development Office for approval by the head of the unit.
(b) If the applicant is unable to take a domestic flight, he/she should fill out an application form (Attachment 6) to take a flight on a foreign airline, and the application form should be signed by the unit supervisor and the president of the university before it is canceled.
V. Points to note for reimbursement of subsidized expenses:
(1) Within 2 weeks after returning home, a paper copy and an electronic copy of the report of attending an international academic conference (Attachment 7) should be submitted to the Office of Research and Development. Failure to submit the required report will result in non-reimbursement of the subsidy.
(According to the annual accounting schedule of the program, the grant should be submitted to the Office of Research and Development within 2 weeks after returning to the country, and will not be accepted after that time.
